Dear Rivera,
Let me just start this out by saying I have been a loyal customer, when the Rivera was not cool, I didn’t care. I have spent, dare I say thousands in the old Kristofer’s Steak House. I was a good enough customer that for my birthday the chef would make creme brule. I was a good enough customer that I was often comped show tickets and in return always told everyone I loved the hotel, even when everyone called it a dump. When I was locked in the elevator and security didn’t give a crap, or when I developed a rash on my last visit and had a room that had mold and broken parts, yes there are pictures, I was still on board. Today that all changed. Apparently, because I won last time I was there I didn’t spend enough, my next visit would be $160 a night. You have to be kidding, $160 is not worth living with the ghost of Vegas past. I have never paid over $40.
When the director of new management, told me in no uncertain terms you don’t care if I take my business elsewhere, I will. Customers like me are what Vegas is built on. I might not be a high roller put I spend at least $1500 on a two day visit. I come two-four times a year, I spent money in the restaurants, I love to see shows and tip well. I am looking for a new hotel, if the new owners don’t care about an old school customer then I don’t give a crap about them either. Wow me Vegas. Where am I going to stay now? I am looking to spend my hard earned money somewhere that will appreciate me and know I am a good customer, I feel like I have broken up with a boyfriend…
